Practice Unlocking the Prompt with Your Scholar
Greetings Family,
There seemed to be a little confusion about last night's homework. I sent home JUST ONE question for tonight. I know we can get it.
Remember scholars, there are three steps you need to follow:
- Read the prompt carefully.
- Circle the key direction verbs and underline the important ideas on the prompt.
- Explain in your own words, what the prompt is asking you to do.
Just a reminder (as we discussed in class) you do not need to answer the question. You are explaining what the questions wants you to do.
